St David Aparthotels

St David Aparthotels is an aparthotel developer and operator based in Chester.

We established our operation in Hong Kong in 1990 offering UK properties to investors based there. Since then we have developed/refurbished and managed multiple properties.

We now focus exclusively on developing and operating quality aparthotels under our St David Aparthotels brand.

Our aparthotels comprise up to twenty fully self-contained studio and one bedroom apartments aimed at the upper end of the market. They offer remote access self-check-in, supported by our on-the-ground management and house-keeping teams.

Our goal is a simple one; to be recognised by our investors, guests and peers as the best aparthotel developer and operator in the UK. We are committed to achieving this and have a highly capable management team with extensive experience in the property development and management sectors.

Importantly, we firmly believe in ‘delivering the promise’ and building long-term relationships based on integrity and trust.

The aparthotel sector offers some wonderful opportunities for our investors and with their support and our team of committed professionals, we expect this to be the case for many years to come. It is an exciting challenge for us and we look forward to the journey ahead.

Our Development Approach

St David Construction is our in-house construction arm.  Our team has had extensive experience in all aspects of developing and refurbishing properties.

We firmly believe that a quality refurbishment will enhance the property’s appeal and value going forward and will considerably reduce ongoing maintenance costs.

The refurbishments we undertake are therefore extensive - we don’t believe in simply adding a coat of paint.    We reconfigure and totally refurbish all our properties to offer quality self-contained accommodation. 

The work typically includes, but is not limited to, internal redesign, restoring original brickwork, new partitioning, new kitchen units and en-suites, plastering, electrical rewiring, energy-efficient heating, and smart technology such as keyless entry and advanced security systems.

Where appropriate, heritage elements, such as sash windows and original staircases, are also carefully preserved.

Our in-house construction management team is supported by professional consultancies, including Chartered Surveyors and Town Planners.

We enjoy breathing new life into structurally sound character buildings and preserving them for future generations to enjoy; distinctive buildings with great interiors that reflect their heritage and which offer quality accommodation.  It is what drives our whole development approach.

Our aim is to create aparthotels that offer quality accommodation for our guests, whilst ensuring ongoing operating and maintenance costs are minimised.

We offer a range of investment opportunities for investors who are seeking attractive returns in the UK’s rapidly expanding aparthotel sector.

With our approach of always ‘always delivering the promise’, we develop long-term relationships with our investors based on transparency and accountability.

We can tailor our projects to suit the needs of our investors and whilst our focus is on maximising the profitability of our aparthotels, we always seek to minimise the risks in doing so.


Our comprehensive service encompasses all aspects of site identification through to development, operation, and eventual sale.

The opportunities we offer include;

1. Individual buildings and established hotels
2. Designated cities/regions encompassing multiple properties

For the above we will enter into an agreement to convert/refurbish the property/ies to the agreed standard at a competitive price and;
(a) Manage/operate it as a St David Aparthotel under a medium to long-term hotel management agreement,
or
(b) Lease it for an agreed period at an attractive return for the investor

3. The provision of fully secured debt finance for a maximum period of three years. The loan funds will be utilised to acquire, develop and operate our upcoming aparthotels.
